Jika kau tahu, lagu ini merupakan lagu yang tak pernah bosan saya putar. Yap, lagu “Bye Bye” yang dinyanyikan oleh seorang diva ternama Mariah Carey, adalah lagu yang berhasil membuat hati saya luluh. Entah mengapa, lirik lagu yang begitu memiliki arti mengharukan, sangat pas menemani musiknya yang halus…

Lagu ini dikarang oleh Mariah Carey, Johntá Austin, Mikkel S. Eriksen, and Tor Erik Hermansen untuk dijadikan sebagai single kedua dari albumnya yang bernama E=MC² (kependekkan dari Emancipation=Mariah Carey²). Lagu ini sebenarnya bergenre R&B dan Pop, namun, kok saya merasa bahwa musik lagu ini didominasi oleh musik klasik nan lembut ya? Hehe… Lagu dengan durasi 4 menit 26 detik ini dirilis video klipnya pada tahun 2007.
